Release Schedule for Defragged History (September 2025)
Time for another update on Defragged History!
New Amsterdam’s final episode 9 of New Amsterdam – ‘Tis Now Called New York is now available on YouTube. It was quite a struggle to get this one out, because there is so much information, and I had to cut a lot, which is never easy to do. One day, I’ll make a series about the Anglo-Dutch Wars and go into all the details. Until then, I hope you enjoy my quick journey into the disastrous mess in this episode. This series is also made available as a weekly podcast series on Spotify, Apple, and wherever you get your podcasts.
Upcoming Releases!
In October 2025, I will release the special The Pirates of New Amsterdam.
On October 30, 2025, the Halloween special about Sawney Bean will become available.
Plus, I will release the two-part Macbethad series as a single episode that same month.
My next series about The Wager, the British Man-of-War that was shipwrecked on the coast of what is now Chile in 1741, will launch (and get shipwrecked) in November 2025.
While I have two or three ideas that I discussed with friends of the channel, I haven’t yet decided on which series I will do after The Wager.
Geschiedenis Ontrafeld
I will soon release the Eighty Years’ War series in Dutch for “Geschiedenis Ontrafeld.“Â (History Unraveled)
This new channel, a sister channel of Defragged History, will feature all Dutch history series by Defragged History in the Dutch language, which includes The Batavia and New Amsterdam series, and any other future Dutch history subjects.
If you speak Dutch, I encourage you to subscribe to that channel; it will help me a lot to get a jumpstart!
Support
I’ll be launching YouTube Memberships and Patreon in a few months, but if you want to support the channel financially before then, you can either buy super thanks on YouTube, use Buy me a Coffee, or via PayPal through my website.
